23 mei 2008 - Pomelos from Vietnam available

Hedel - The next shipment of containerised pomelos from Vietnam is expected at De Groot International in the Netherlands on 26th May. The first containers arrived early April and were without problems sold to clients of De Groot International. The Vietnamese pomelos because of the rough skin are not as nice looking as the Chinese product. The taste is very good and they are very juicy. There is therefore no doubt that buyers will purchase them quickly.

De Groot International is one of the biggest importers of pomelos. The Chinese season has ended in the meantime. De Groot International has experienced a good Chinese pomelo season, as after a difficult start all turned out well. The next Chinese season will start in September and De Groot International intends to sell pomelos all year round.
